On the side
of artists.
Since 2002.
H’art opened in Bucharest in 2002 as one of Romania’s first private contemporary art galleries. From the beginning, its focus was the generation of artists who emerged after 1989.
Painting, sculpture, photography and collage have come together around the gallery. Emerging artists and established voices. Curious visitors and collectors. Exhibitions in Bucharest and conversations across borders.
Today, the story continues at Malmaison and through projects developed with other art spaces and institutions.
